This weekend I had a lot of fun photographing Travis and Veneshia’s engagement session!

Inspired by architecture and design, Travis and Veneshia asked if there were any good indoor locations for their winter engagement session. Immediately, I suggested the Mississauga Civic Centre! Although I usually love photographing with natural sunlight, I decided to create our own lighting for majority of this engagement to highlight Travis and Veneshia’s urban streak.

The Civic Centre offers a huge variety of indoor backdrops. The architecture allowed us to really have fun creating an assortment of interesting photos – while keeping warm! The Mississauga Art Gallery nestled in the back was also very accommodating, they let us run in and snag a few shots just minutes before closing.
